Graduated from the Architecture School of the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki (A.U.T.H) in 2000. In 2003, with a scholarship from the Public Foundation of Scholarships (IKY), obtained the postgraduate master’s degree MBLandArch of Landscape Architecture, (Escuela Tecnica Superior de Barcelona E.T.S.A.B., Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya U.P.C.). Since 2004 she works as a freelance architect in Ioannina, where she founded the architectural design firm “archiTopio”, delivering small and big scale projects for both the private and public sector. She has participated at various competitions, exhibitions, publications and congresses (BCN Landscape Biennale, Public space +, Landscape Architecture +20,etc) and she has taken part in participatory design processes in Greece and Spain. In 2018 she received the Second Prize at the Panhellenic architectural competition for the redesign of the Pyrros square in Ioannina, with the project “Rainscape Stories”. During the academic periods 2021-2023 she was teaching Architectural and Urban Design at the Department of Architecture of the Ioannina University as an adjunct lecturer. Since 2023 she has been a PHD candidate at the University of Ioannina, with the thesis title “Lake Landscape and Water Management Strategies: Transformations and Dynamics of the Urban Space and Watershed Boundary in Pamvotis Lake”.
She also holds a professional engineering license of A’ class , Categories 06 & 07 (Architectural projects of buildings, Specific Architectural Design of interior and exterior spaces, rehabilitation of monuments, conservation of historic buildings, urban areas and landscape). Since 2024 she is working as a special Adviser for the Mayor of Ioannina in the fields of Architectural and Urban Design.
