Anthony Vidler graduated from Cambridge holds a PhD student from TU Delft. He is a partner of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has served as Dean, Chair and Professor at the Cooper Union Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture in New York, UCLA, Cornell, Yale, Brown and Princeton. As a member of the scientific council of MIT Lab, the American Association of Architectural Historians, the Van Alen Institute, the Rolex Foundation, the Architecture Center of New York, etc., he has contributed to the interdisciplinary collaboration of architecture with other academic fields.

Professor Anthony Vidler has authored and edited over 250 original research projects, monographs, collective volumes and articles. His work has been developed in many ways, in constant communication with other academic fields, such as Cultural Studies, Visual Arts, Psychoanalysis, Epistemology and History of Technology, etc. His award-winning scientific book "Warped Space. Art, Architecture, and Anxiety in Modern Culture" has been published in Greek under the scientific supervision of Nikolas Patsavos, Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture, University of Ioannina.
