Anastasios Mpalaskas has a Diploma in Civil Engineering DUTH (2002). Moreover, he has a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma (M.Sc.) DUTH in Structural Engineering "Advanced Materials and Technologies for the Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures" (2003) and a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma (M.Sc.) in "Construction Management" (2009). In (2016), his Doctoral Diploma (Ph.D.) was adopted from the Department of Materials Science Engineering, of the University of Ioannina, in the "Investigation of the Structural Integrity of Reinforced Concrete Elements and Other Building Materials by Non-Destructive Methods." Since 2003, he maintains a technical office in Ioannina. Moreover, since 2016, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratories of "Mechanics, Smart Sensors & Nondestructive Evaluation" and at the "Concrete Laboratory" of the Department of Materials Science Engineering of the University of Ioannina, while at the same time performed assistant lecturing work in the specific department. Since 2020, he has been lecturing at the Department of Architecture of the University of Ioannina. As part of his research activity, he has served as a postdoctoral fellow and collaborator in various research projects. Meanwhile, he has published dozens of articles in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as conference proceedings. He is an active reviewer with awards and an editorial board member in international journals. Moreover, he has been a guest editor in special issues of international journals.
